Needle Felted Red-Tailed Hawk

Red-Tailed Hawks deserve an award for keeping me super entertained during the slower moments of the Hawk Watches I've been on this fall. Seriously, watching these guys dive through the air, gang up on eagles (who does that? These brave souls!), and play with each other in mid-air has been an amazing sight. The most recent interaction I had the pleasure of watching was between a red-tail and a raven, who dove at each other back and forth and ended with the raven chasing the hawk off. Birds are crazy!
